In an hour time, United will kick-off the gigantic game against Liverpool, a game crucial for both. Liverpool to keep them in a slim home of the Premiership crown; United to keep them in the slim lead over Arsenal who will play later in another gigantic game against Chelsea.
Key absentees for United include Rio Ferdinand while van der Sar might be welcomed back after 3 games missing, while Liverpool is almost at full strength with Torres hitting top form. Ronaldo, whose 33 goals broke the George’s Best record for a winger is also at top form, hitting all cylinders with his pace and “new age” of freekick.
Expect United to control the tempo and had a lot of possessions while Liverpool will play wait and seek trying to caught United off-guard. The key will be how United capitalize on their chances as United tend to be wasteful and for Pique to stood firm, in for Ferdinand.
blogmanutd.com predicts: MAN UTD 2 - LIVERPOOL 0. It’ll be a tough game, but if United could score first, Liverpool had no chance but to attack, and this will open up the game. In this scenario, I would predict United to capitalize on another break and kill off the game. Ronaldo and Rooney for the scores.

It’s painful but through, Arsenal did get smashed and it’s still so hard to believe.
