It’s 90 minutes!! (with 5 minutes added time as Evra was injured at the stroke of the fulltime) and Manchester United has secured a place at the 2007/2008 UEFA Champions’ League Final in Moscow on May 21, courtesy of Paul Scholes’ superb 14th minutes strike.
It was a pulsating match throughout the 90 minutes and no one could’ve asked for a more intense game. At the end though, United stood firm and ensured their first final in 9 years since their dramatic triumph in 1999, ironically at Barcelona’s Camp Nou with Scholes’ suspended.
