It’s not usual for blogmanutd.com to predict other teams’ games unless it involves United. However we tried to get a little thoughts on this interesting finale to the relegation fights. Who will go down (apart from Derby who is already relegated)? Birmingham, Reading, or Fulham?
blogmanutd.com predicts: Birmingham, Reading will be relegated
Reading’s camp mood with owner Madejski looking for a new buyer along with Steve Coppell’s indecision on his future if Reading were relagated did not help much to the game preparation, although the key game will be Fulham at Portman Road against the Pompey. If they win, all other results (i.e. Birmingham vs. Blackburn and Derby vs. Reading) would not mean anything, and I think the Cottagers will do it at Portman Road. Jimmy Bullards is in superb form, as too Brian McBride. It was a fairy-tale like for the Roy Hodgson’s team and I do think it will end in a happy ending. Pompey has too focused on the FA Cup final next week as I think Harry Redknapp wouldn’t risk playing physical with his best 11 with their first final in more than 60 years in the horizon next week.
