In a few hours time, Manchester United will be squareing off with Chelsea for the biggest trophy in Europen club football.
A few thoughts:
- If Chelsea thought the pitch condition will help them win ugly, then I don’t think they’ll ever win in. Football is not just about winning, it’s about showpiece and sportsmanship to us, supporters!
- This will possibly mark the end for many Chelsea players, namely Shevchenko, Drogba, Wright-Phillips
- Scholes will definitely start this game
- Will Giggs break Sir Bobby Charlton’s record tonight? YES, NO DOUBT.
- How will United play? 4-5-1? 4-3-3? I think it’ll be more like 4-1-2-1-1-1 with Hargreaves playing the holding midfielder and Tevez along with Ronaldo and Rooney playing a three man upfront.
- Is Terry and Ashley Cole 100% fit to start the game? It does NOT matter, MAN UTD will need to be on top of our game to beat Chelsea regardless of who they start with.
- Will UNITED get our DOUBLE? TOTALLY YES!!!

In contrast to many pundits predicting a cagey game with Chelsea eeking out 1-0 win, I do think it’s the opposite. Chelsea coming in wanting to eek out an ugly victory mentality will totally backfire. United to control the tempo with Ronaldo and Hargreaves scoring the winner. MAN UTD 2 - Chelsea 0.

Nice blog you got going here. I’m impressed to see you have been so dedicated, kept your blog going for a few years now and it’s good to see you put emotion into them.
