Dimitar Berbatov has reportedly handed in a transfer request to Tottenham Hotspur, in a move to speed up and make possible his long awaited move to Manchester United.  United has been rejected an offer in the region of 20 million with Hotspur wanting something like 30 million.  It’ll be interesting how this all will turn out with Spurs has just lost to Middlesbrough 1-2 in the opening day of the 2008/2009 Premier League.

I can’t wait for Berbatov to join United!  He’ll add lots of finesse to an already highly-technical United squad, along with the much needed height upfront.
